With an eye on building community engagement, Jessica Kumar guides CFSI’s strategic presence across all digital media channels. She is responsible for managing CFSI's online reputation and highlighting the company mission. This work includes facilitating brand management, raising visibility of signature programs, coordinating research releases, marketing industry events, and promoting CFSI's Annual Underbanked Financial Services Forum.
She is responsible for interactive functional tools including: CFSI's direct Web Presence, Strategic Programs and Partnerships, weaving Organizational Objectives through Brand Strategy, management of CFSI's Editorial Calendar, Stakeholder Relationship Management, Community Management of Social Media Interactions and Inbound Requests, Webinar Facilitation, Blog Strategy, Search Engine Optimization, E-Newsletter Content Creation and Management, and tracking Organizational Impacts.
Ms. Kumar also amplifies industry messages with partner organizations and stakeholders involved with notable CFSI programs such as the Financial Capability Innovation Fund, the Financial Capability Institute, and the FinCapDev Competition.
Prior to CFSI, Ms. Kumar worked with a number of IT companies, advertising agencies, and nonprofits across the globe, including IT Hands Inc, a web design and internet marketing firm in North India where she specialized in web design project management, internet marketing, user experience strategy, and search engine optimization. Her experience spans media and technology companies such as Learning Assistant Technologies Inc, South Central Media, and Transco Products Inc.
Ms. Kumar holds Bachelor's of Science in Marketing, and a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Economics from Indiana Wesleyan University. She is also SOPI ACTFL certified in Hindi Language fluency.
