A driven, creative leader in consumer financial services, Joshua Turnbull leads consulting work at CFSI, the nation’s authority on financial services for the underserved. In this position, he helps financial services companies—including large banks, retailers, small to midsized depositories, financial technology firms, and nonprofits—define strategies, implement business plans, and launch profitable products.

Mr. Turnbull’s experience spans operations, P&L management, marketing, and strategy at financial technology firms and banks. Prior to CFSI, Turnbull held a number of leadership roles at FIS, the world’s largest provider of financial services and payments technology, including product management, marketing strategy, and business strategy roles for consumer risk management, fraud, compliance, and online and mobile banking solutions. He began his career in financial services at U.S. Bank, where he held both retail branch and commercial credit management roles.

Mr. Turnbull is frequently invited to speak at industry forums, appears in industry publications, and has published original research. He is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota, and has completed advanced coursework at the University of Oregon and the Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities in international development and Asian languages. Turnbull is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington, the premier national graduate school of banking.
