This session will feature CFSI's latest research on consumers of small dollar credit products (including payday, pawn, deposit advance, installment, and auto title loans), examining the credit need, the purchase decision process, usage, and the overall consumer experience with these products. The discussion will also include how an increasing number of nonprofit CDFI loan funds are currently offering, or considering offering, responsible alternatives. CBA will explore the role that these CDFI products play in building consumers' credit and setting them up for better future financial options, and what CBA is doing to support these efforts.
