CNBC: Prepaid Cards Move Beyond the Underbanked

As prepaid cards are becoming more mainstream, many financial institutions are asking the question "How do we engage the underbanked market?" Rachel Schneider, Vice President, Innovation, Research and Policy, points out that prepaid customers are often smaller accounts with few transactions. However, prepaid cards are also becoming more popular with middle income consumers and the opportunity for a more profitable prepaid business is clearly emerging.
