CFSI Research Director Michael Herrmann presents the CFSI paper, “Nonprofit Distribution of Prepaid Cards”. Then Tam Doan of the Center for Community Change discusses the opportunities and challenges her organization faced during the first phase of a pilot program to distribute prepaid cards through CCC’s worker centers. Tam answers many audience questions about start up costs, operating expenses, and income generated from these programs. She and Mike also discuss marketing ideas, product features, vendor selection, and customer service.
